Heyos people! So today I had not quite of an interesting day... I went to work, after work, went to have dinner with my mum after which, met up with the usual suspects to watch a movie (ghost of girlfriend's past or something, not bad btw. I'll give a review later on). BUT, instead I have interesting news to share!!

So, given the fact that Father's day was yesterday I shall share a news on relation to that.
The President of the United States Obama has mentioned about the importance of father and how teens turn out bad due to their absence. In the news article (http://lifestyle.msn.com/your-life/family-parenting/article.aspx?cp-documentid=20440872>1=32001), it is stated by Dr. Perry Crouch (a gang intervention specialist in South-Central Los Angeles) that 0.5% of gang members he deals has a father in their life! Wow, thats really really bad statistics. To add on, about 750,000 teenagers become pregnant each year, and 3 in 10 teenage girls become pregnant at least once before age 20. MSNBC health and science writer Linda Carroll explained that a father is the best defense against risky teen sex. A mum can do the job but the dad has TWICE the influence! It is now a no wonder why the father has to talk about the birds and the bees.
Oh well, those stats I assume applies to the US I guess, but still President Obama is right that every kid, needs a father. That unassuming authority that kids bow down to. That voice that bellows through the room asking you to have your dinner/veggies/switch off the lights, etc and thou SHALL/MUST COMMAND or else.... HAHA.. the belts and all starts lashing out. Well, my dad isn't THAT commanding though, hes' more to the irritate-you-till-you-do-it kind. No offense but that too actually works! (Hes' having fun doing it anyway) How ever or What ever your dad does to make you eat/do your stuffs, its forever for your own good. What kind of person you are reflects your parents' image. Fathers are guys and guys have this little thing called EGO. HAHA. I lied, its a BIG HUGE GIGANTO thing called EGO, and no guys wanna lose it, so OBVIOUSLY he wouldnt tarnish it would he?
In other news, I just read up on an article : Why do Doctors wear WHITE coats? Not Black Not Blue Not Red but WHITE?
But but, I'm not very into this topic but however, something INSIDE the article stating about White-Coat Hypertension. Haha. What in the world is that you may ask. Don't worry I did the same thing. So, a little research educated me about this. So, if I may explain in my own words, White-Coat Hypertension is an elevated blood pressure when tested in any medical ward or clinic but a normal blood pressure when measure at other environment. HAHA. This illness if I may call it is still kinda fuzzy. Well, I'm no doctor but this thing...is interesting. HAHA. Do you have White-Coat Hypertension? Afraid of the needles? hahaha.

Okay Dokey, so I caught a movie just now called :
Ghost of Girlfriends Past. Directed by Mark Waters. With Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, Michael Douglas.
Basically, Matthew McConaughey is a FLIRT, a really good one but now he is being educated by some ghosts of the repercussions of being one. haha. Not going to leak too much out otherwise I may get sued! haha. Its not bad of a movie, intelligent and funny. What else do you expect from a romance comedy? =)

Ha, nothing much to review about OBVIOUSLY as I had not watched the movie! But I cant wait CANT WAIT!!
Okay, speaking of which, Megan Fox. Big big controversy happening. Is Megan Fox a GUY?!?! Omg? Well, I did some serious checking and sadly, according to most website, it is claimed that Megan Fox used to be a guy named Mitchell Reed.
According to the report, Megan used to be name Mitchell Reed and that he showed an early interest in performing and women’s clothing. They also tried a priest to take away the evil spirit that was making young Mitchell do what he was doing but alas, nothing worked. His parents eventually gave in and eventually put him on pageant circuits. When he reached 13, he already had a career as a female child performer named “Megan Fox.” He started his career with an Olsen twins straight-to-video release and it’s a wonder that the twins have been keeping this secret for the longest time. It is thought that he eventually had surgery to replace his manhood and thus became “Megan Fox,” the hottest chick on the planet.

So ya anyway, I was browsing through my pictures folder on my laptop and discovered a photo i took a few years back. HILARIOUS! hehe. Took it from 7 - eleven at Tamp stadium ...
GET IT GET IT? hahaa. Anything carbonated is only 90cents. SOOO, I took a can of mountain dew, walked towards the counter and happily placed a dollar coin onto the cashier's hand. This was the following conversation.
Cashier : Sir, another 40cents please?
Me : huh? its stated there WHAT. anything that is carbonated 90 cents maaaaaa.
Cashier : The drink....ANYTHING/WHATEVER. -.-
Me : Zzzz. Dowan liao. *walks off*
YAAAAA. typical dumb and dumber. BUT still, state properly!
Hmm. Yeaps. So a few more things that I would like to talk about. Lets see, I was listening to the radio this morning (thursday) and heard this piece of news.
It goes : In Japan, female commuters of the train are to have a cabin of their own in fear of being groped. Male commuters are requesting to have a cabin of THEIR own with the arguement of gender equilibration. (or something to add to that effect)
HAHA. True enough, OLs are very VERY vunerable during the rush hours. Everyone sardined together and hands are everywhere. Its kinda interesting dont you guys think? Imagine this, you get up your train in bedok and see someone getting molested all the way to joo kun. HAA. Wierdd. Ohwell, at least the japanese are doing something about it, seperating the genders. But how is it gonna work mann. Gonna have those toilet stick figures (male/female) stick to the doors? Get fined if caught in the wrong cabin? Don't know, extremely curious. HAH. I'm so gonna follow up with this piece of news, see how it goes.
In other news, 91.3FM is DOPE! haha, never fail to make my day. Today's topic of the day from "The Married Men" was FATMANDOS! HAAH.. It goes something like that : Are you overweight, a sack of lard, lazy, cant run? No Fret! The SAF still wants you to be the FATMANDOS! Elite forces of the Army, Navy, RSAF. Be the cushion or the paratroopers when they land in the ARMY. Be the float so that vessels do not crash into each other in the NAVY and for the RSAF, couldnt thought of any, will get back to you. HAAH. I was sniggering in the train like a sick demented kid. I applaude the guys from 91.3FM. GOOD JOB!! HAAHA
